Our History

Richard Cusano established Professional Exterminating in 1986. Soon after, Richard's cousin Ken Cusano joined the team. Between the two, they have over 50 years of experience in the field of structural pest control. As the company became more well known, the business needed to expand to keep up with demand. Phil Greatsinger joined Professional Exterminating in 2003. Still business continued to increase. Years later, in order to keep up with demand, Dan Sherrin joined the team.

Professional Exterminating has protected over 500 homes from the damage caused by termites. The success of the company was based on one basic concept: every pest problem is a unique situation and needs to be dealt with in an individualized manner. Thus, they offer customized programs to fit the different needs of each individual circumstance. The company now services the Connecticut shoreline as well as central Connecticut. In the near future, the team is planning on expanding the business even more to cover other aspects of the pest control.
